Literary Pearl Editing Services, along with Quill & Flame Publishing House, is in the process of publishing not one, but two, anthologies this year.

Originally, we began the process of opening submissions for short stories and original artwork for the anthology Tails, Scales, and Tiaras. With submission guidelines asking for a mythical creature and a member of royalty, how could it be bad, right?

And that was definitely right. We had so many phenomenal submissions, we decided to split them into two anthologies. Thus, Creatures, Crowns, and Curses was born this week. The hardest part was still having to eliminate so many fantastic stories.

Tails, Scales, and Tiaras will now be about dragons and creatures who mainly live on land. Be on the lookout for that to be published in the summer of 2024. Creatures, Crowns, and Curses will regale us with stories of sea dwellers and curses of all shapes and sizes. Watch for that to be released in the fall or early winter of 2024. Updates can be seen on the Literary Pearl Editing Services website and Instagram account.

The proceeds from both anthologies will be benefitting the Hair for All Foundation, which provides wigs for patients experiencing hair loss due to medical conditions such as cancer and alopecia. Check out their Facebook page here for the latest on their excellent work.
