As an avid reader for most of my life, when the opportunity to become a beta reader for an author friend presented itself, I was thrilled. It quickly became apparent to both of us that editing was an adventure I should explore further. Because my career began as a beta reader, I approach manuscripts through the eyes of an average reader as well as an editor, which gives me a unique perspective while editing.

As an editor and proofreader, my goal is to help authors make their fiction manuscripts the absolute best they can be. Where I excel is in taking what other people have written and helping them to make it shine.
